Our History
The connection among Wetzel Services’ three departments – International Relocation, Language & Intercultural Training, and a full-service Realty Brokerage --may not be immediately apparent. But the progression could not have been more natural. Paul Wetzel founded Wetzel Services in 1996 as a tutoring and language teaching company. Teaching languages naturally involved working with internationals, most of whom were here temporarily on business. Paul and his staff and teachers did all they could to help these international businesspeople and their families adjust to life in the U.S. Of course, relocating to the U.S. and adjusting to the new culture require much more than language skills, so Wetzel Services expanded its business to include Intercultural Training and International Relocation services.
From Relocation to Realty was another natural step. It didn’t take long to realize that guiding international families through a home search was a specialized process, and high-quality realty support for internationals was lacking. To meet this need, Paul was licensed as a Realtor 8 years ago. He could now write leases for his clients and fully understand the legal aspects of their purchases and rentals. The feedback from clients was excellent, and the realty business grew.
In order to be free to work solely for his clients’ best interests, Paul then became licensed as a Broker in Charge. Since his first sale in 2001, he has handled home sales totaling over 16 million dollars and, as a tenant’s agent, has negotiated leases worth more than 8 million dollars.
Paul is joined at Wetzel Realty by experienced real estate agents Valerie Wetzel and Gee Burnett and realty assistant Anna Neeser. Paul Wetzel Broker in Charge, Wetzel Realty Paul@wetzelservices.com

His personal interests include reading, traveling, motorcycle riding, tennis and spending time with his wife Valerie and their two children Abigail and Andrew.
